Acid Bottles HURLED onto Hong Kong Busiest Street
Summary:
In Hong Kong, someone hurled Acid bottles on one of its busiest streets with tons of people doing their Christmas shopping. It was later confirmed that 46 people were injured by the acid. The police concluded that it was a deliberate attack and it was intentionally thrown from the height after thorough investigation by the police.
The people were caught by surprise when the bottle dropped down, burning the clothes and skins. Many rushed to find water to wash it off. Some of them were splashed in the eyes and limbs due to the impact.
Luckily most of the victims were discharged from the hospital after the acid was cleanse of and medication has been applied. The injured shoppers believed the liquid that hit them unaware would high likely be acid drain cleaner, one of the most hazardous household product available to the public. The police said if the person is caught, he could face the harsh sentence of life imprisonment.
My Opinion:
This is definitely deliberate from the looks of it as the bottles definitely will not drop on people by themselves. And choosing the one of the busiest to drop? I believe this person is probably unstable in the mind or he was targeting someone. Perhaps he had to make sure the person he was targeting was hit by the acid and that is probably why he dropped the bottles from a height so that he could make sure and get a good look of whether the person got hit before he makes his escape.
