China’s Press testes its BOUNDARIES

Summary:

China’s press has been covering on news that was suppose to be “not suitable” to be released. Big juicy news such as one of the official threw perfectly fine local into the mental asylum to keep them from saying about the injustice done by him, while there are official who goes on free vacation trips to abroad on the pretext of “study trip”. There are also many more news such as strikes and protests being reported in the news. These news were the so-called “undiscipline” news and were not allow to be publicized.

Many journalists and newspaper editors in the past have of course, been removed from their jobs due to such news being released. But many nowadays take up the risk of doing it and several also fight back by suing the government of alleging wrongdoings while the government claimed they breached news propaganda discipline.

My Opinion:

I find this news rather interesting as this was the first time I heard of people suing their own government. The next thing is that, unlike our Singapore newspaper, they are not allowed to report anything bad about their government, thus there is no t much democracy and freedom in their country. I manage to see that even the lives of reporters, journalists and editors can be dangerous and interesting, except the suing part though.

Trying to keep it short here so it will ease Ms Tang’s pain of reading so many posts.

TO Ms Tang, I helping u leh!!! LOL !
