School is (school's)...
not perfect. Not just to JSS, but to other levels of education, like colleges and primary schools, including Singapore's top institutions. Schools have rules, but not everyone can abide by them. Lessons are the primary purpose of schools, yet some just cannot make the grade. Regardless on how facilities may vary in terms of quality or design, they still undergo this process called 'wear and tear'.
However, this is the norm for every, single school. To me, school is like an internship before I start a career. In this learning hub, I always get taught something new(or so), whether it's the HDI of countries or just some grammatical errors. I may not be able to apply all of the infomation I have acquired(esp. maths), but the school's board of directors decides, not me. They give the plan, we stick to it. Easy.
Yet academics alone is definitely dull. Why not add some 'Extra-Curriculum Activites'? That's right, you've guessed it, ECA, or CCA. Sports, uniformed groups, clubs and societies. Too few? I have not further catergorised them. I couple this with studies, and school will be more enjoyable.
Wait a minute, we still fall short of something. Both lessons and CCA...they have people...err what could possibly influence your 4-year life in school?
No prizes for getting it right, it's friends.
All of us certainly have a base of buddies. You see, this is not a required field for the school, but we need them. Same for me, and same vice versa. Your friends are there to lend a hand, have at least one same interest or whatsoever. One condition to this is get good associates, not troublemakers. Other than that, I am in no jurisdiction to authority to pick your friends.
Before I rest my case, I conclude that schools are what I would like to say a 'all in one' package. Not every educational or social aspect can be acquired or experienced in school, and schools are, in my opinion, imprefect. But as we continue to experience schooling, we soon realise that school is beneficary, and that education is an investment no one can take away from you.
