1) The punishement for Teo is Fair for Him..
Firstly Teo told three tales to three different peple and his final tale to the psychiatrist. Concluding From This FOUR tales..3 out 4 seems to link to his emotions on how he felt towards his ex-girlfriend. But the main point here is he is trying to commit a crime. But beefore anyone commits a crime, there's always a reason to it.And his reason was due to his love and pain that he had suffered from the past years. I find the treatment or the punishment is fair because firstly every singaporean should be aware of the srtict rules and punishments for the crime committed. And yet if they continue to do it knowingly and also against the government rules he should be given a fair punsihment back. Not onli being a soldier in singapore, how could he use a weapon like a rifle to wander about in singapore? what does it shownto other singaporeans or future soldeirs for singapore? is this how we should protect the country ? so hence i find the treatment is fair.
bUt in my other view i find the treatment kind of harsh too.9 years in jail is alot even though he gets to learn what he has done wrong it isnt his fault that his like this.He didnt ask for such parents to be like this. He didnt ask for such a life. Every human being wants a normal life not a messed up life. htough its fated to be like this, but still i find th punishment too harsh on him.Being beaten up by parents is painful externally.but the pain will be gone without days, weeks and months. But losing a loved one, breaking up with a loved one,and the feeling of losing another love one hurts internally. And that pain will never fade.It will cause a deep impression and a scar in that person's life.Underdstanding all this he had suffered i still feel strongly he doesnt deserve 9 years of punishment.
though we know 50 percent of the wrong lies on hym but the other 50? what was the government doing when he manged to get a rifle out of the camp? what has army thought this chap? Is mandai camp a discpline camp? is the security tight? this isnt the first time they have proved the secruity isnt tight by referring to mas selemat..Alot of questions to be pondered here in mi point of view)
so in overall i feel that he shoud deserve a punishment that is not as harsh as this.
2)
i feel that selling of organs should be legal unless it doent affect the people using it, directly or indireclty.
selling of organs is to keep a life going not to lose it. BUt why isit the india is enforing this right now when so many lives have been lost
But right now ithink the sale of oragns should be legalised because illegal companies are trying to make money by getting people to sell their organs.By looking at the state of people in india. they are easliy fooled and fiancially delcined. And so by enforcing laws on this matter should be helping the citizens and the foreigners greatly
people who want to help those who are in need will be able to donate their organs. This will save many patients as they will not need to wait for a donor.Which is and advantage. but thedisadvatage is that some will lose their life while finding for a donor and some familers which are fiancilly declined would depend on selling their oragns to help their family which is very dangerous
So i feel that the sale of oragns should be legalised for benefit of the nation, people and the the poor donours.
