I think the punishment meted out to the NSF was fair enough.Considering the fact that he is only 20 years old and have to undergo 18 canes.

First of all, putting aside his sad family background and what had happened to his younger
brother,he was already handling a big deal of emotional feeling inside.Furthermore, his bad
break-up with his girlfriend had made him worsen his ability to think correctly and control his actions.

However,I do not think that this will let him have the opportunity to tarnish the reputation of the armed forces, carrying a rifle around, endangering people's life.I cannot think of the consequences if the police have not catch him. Will carrying a rifle, threatening his ex-girlfriend to get back with him help? No,I certainly don't think so.

Before thinking of smuggling the weapons out,did he think of the consequences? He told Lieutenant Choo that he did want to let his grandparents know about his actions as he did not want them to worry. That means he knew what he was doing was wrong and dangerous.Since he knew that,he still wanted to carry on what he planned to do.Also,he told three different tales to three people. He may be confused of what he was going to do with the rifle or truly wanted to hide his real motive he wanted to do with the rifle.

I think Justice Tay Yong Kwang had given him a fair punishment as he could have been jailed for even more years. One must know that carrying a weapon is a serious offence and that it is not a funny thing to try the armed forces, smuggling a weapon out.I hope that during his period of servicing his jail term,he can reflect on what he have done and who he could have harmed.Since he loves Miss Liew,he shouldn't have wanted to kill her.He is still young and by the time he get out of jail,I hope he will turn over a new leaf and put back his past.

Personally,i felt that selling a organ is acceptable if the person himself agrees with it.The organ is theirs,so whether they want to sell it or not,it is their own decision.Of course,it is an immoral thing to do as they can choose to donate their organ to someone who is poor and needs it rather than selling it off in a very high price. This only means that only rich people gets what they want and need.Sale of organ may be beneficial, but only to people that can afford it.

If the sale of organ is made legal, there is some advantages and disadvantages. The possible outcomes are that there are more people willing to let patients use their organs to save people's life. However,it will create a chaos as people will start selling their organs anywhere, anytime. The prices are not standardise and people will raise their prices of organ as high as they wish to.Also,if some poors or gamblers who are in debt need money urgently, they will resort to this solution. Some parents who have lost their mind or having a finiancial crisis will force their children to sell off their organs to help earn money for the family. This legalisation will also lead people to think that this kind of trading is acceptable and can make easy money with it.Children may think that this is a good job to do and find it right selling their organs.Another thing to consider is that even though people are willing to sell their organs off, they may not be successful if their organs are not suitable for the patients or are unhealthy.

It is a truth that the sale of organs will increase the total number of life-saving organs available for transplant. This may also let the patients wait shorter for people to sell/donate their organ to them.If a proper system is set up to monitor the situations of people selling their organs and also strict conditions and limitation imposed for sellers,I think that the sale of organs will work out.
Also, hospitals need to make sure the sale of organs are done without any cheating, forcing and the whole process of transplatation is done safely and transparent.Singapore can also use Iran as an live-example and see how they handle this as Iran is currently the only country allowing legal sale of organs.
