70-year-old Indian gives birth, thanks to IVF

intro: a woman who was childless for 50 years gave birth to her first to child after receiving in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment. She has now become the oldest woman to give birth.the couple who married in 1954 were unable to produce children. even after the husband married his wife's second sister, they were unable to produce children.

my reaction: whoa. though its good news for them that they are able to have kids now, aren't they a bit too old? i mean think of the child. his parents are the age of what his grandparents should be. how would they be able to raise up their child when they are always falling sick due to their ageing bodies? wouldn't a child expect its parents to play with it hide and seek? but these parents can only hobble on their canes. couples should always think about their child's welfare before making decisions that may affect their child in the future. this child may be bullied at the school that it goes to in the future when they realise that her parents are so old. it is also no point hiding the fact that the couple are nearing the age of how you say, kicking the bucket.(sorry to be so bland)wouldn't the child miss out on so many things and not have the proper care and love that its supposed to grow up with. thus, its important  for couples to think of the future when deciding upon something. not to end so negatively,i do congratulate the couple on achieving their dream. good luck to you. as for the child i wish it all the best :)
