Wild Child
Movie Review :
This movie shows how a spoilt girl, Poppy, who was sent to boarding school, which she doesn't like. Afterward, she gets acquainted with friends in her room, who helps her, who befriends her. Even though she still tries to find ways to get expelled by the school, with the help of her friends, she realise that she begins to like her environment, even her companions, and shopping in thrift stores. There is also a girl who is vying with her for the handsome guy, which happens to be the principal's son, whom is not allowed to get fresh with any of the girls in the boarding school. During a fire that occured in the school, it seems that Poppy was the girl who set off the fire, since she was the last one in the kitchen, and she had admitted that she accidentally set off a small fire, but had put it off. She had wanted to get out of the school, and this was what she wanted, but she doesn't feel that way anymore. She wanted to stay in this boarding school, with her friends, with the guy she loves, playing the team that her mother once used to play for.
Reflection :
I find that this movie is quite heartwarming, as you see the spoilt brat, who was carrying LV bags, to a girl who fits in so well with the school, who changes for the better. She starts to mature, and she starts to look at things another way. This show is also quite a comedy, with some funny scenes. She also leads the team which her mother once led, as the captain, and they won the championship, which was a very big glory for the school, who had not won for decades. Her past friends were never there for her, were never true friends. However, now she has make true friends, whom she has fun, share woes with. So the whole show ended with a happy ending, with Poppy being more matured, with her friends, and with her guy.
