Movie : Bolt

Synopsis :
This is actually a story about a typical dog, who is actually a star in a show, trying to save his mistress, Penny, from a bad guy in the show. In the show, Bolt has super powers, such as super strength and speed, heat vision, invincibility and an ultra-sonic "super bark," which can kill in the show. However, Bolt doesn't know that he's actually just a 'make-believe', as the TV crew made it seem as though Bolt really have super powers, just to make the show more realistic, which is where a superdog saves his beloved mistress from danger.
However, due to critics who said that the show was just another typical show, having happy endings where the superdog successfully saves his owner, the TV crew decided to change the ending of that episode a little, making Penny kidnapped by the bad guys. Penny wanted to tell Bolt that she's alright, but was held back by her agent, who told her that they had to do everything to make Bolt believe that everything's real. Penny was very disappointed, even though Bolt's her pet, she couldn't even take him home for the weekend, or play with him out of the movie set.
Because Bolt believed that Penny was kidnapped by the bad guys, he ran out of the set, and accidentally got shipped from Hollywoods to New York City. In the real world, his powers weren't working, and he though that styrofoam caused him to weaken. Afterwards, he got a cat, whom he believed was the bad guys' pet, to lead him to Penny. As Bolt tied Mittens to himself, she had no choice but to follow along, on the journey back to Hollywoods.
Along the way, Bolt finally realised that he was just an actor, and Mittens started to teach him how to be a normal dog, like playing fetch, being cute to beg for food.
They met Rhino on the way, who was a huge fan of Bolt, who also travelled along on the way back. Mittens thought that Bolt was happy staying as a stray dog, but Bolt still insisted that he wanted to find Penny. Mittens revealed that she was actually an abandoned cat, and said that Penny wouldn't love him anymore since he's been gone so long. Bolt went on to Hollywoods, having no choice but leaving them behind.
After that, Rhino actually convinced Mittens to go to Hollywoods to find Bolt, as friends should stay together. When Bolt saw Penny hugging another Bolt-lookalike, he was so disappointed, and walked off, not realising that Penny still misses him alot, and that scene was just for the show. Mittens saw that, and immediately went to find Bolt to explain things.
An accident happened, leaving Penny stuck in the burning set, and Bolt went back to rescue her, where they reunite. He barked through an air vent to let the firemen outside know where they are, and they were both rescued.
The ending was that Penny shifted to a rural area, having the three-some as her pets, and living happily, as a normal family.

Reflection :
This movie reflects that animals also has the same feelings like we do. They also have a sense of belonging towards us, and that we should really love them, like how Penny did.
I think this movie was rather heartwarming at the end, where everyone was happier, being a normal dog, who plays with his owner, rather that being stuck in a 'make-believe' world.
It also shows that maybe we should take responsibility for our pets, rather than leaving them to fend for themselves once we've got sick of them.
