Article: Honda quits Formula One
The Straits Times A10

As a fan of Formula, it definitely saddens me to see the FIA trying to standardize all engines which will means all car will race at the same performance and no one car will outdo the other which will also means there is no more excitement in watching F1. But the FIA decision is reasonable in some ways too as Honda announce that it will quit F1 as it cannot afford the 444 million annual bill. This 444 million bill is probably due to the high cost of developing engines and needing to support a large team. The withdrawal of Honda just means that more team may probably follow suit and F1 will be in big touble. Since the start of the 2008 season, trouble having been knocking on F1. The French grand pix has been canceled due to economic reasons, the chinese grand pic organisers planing to withdraw as they are not gaining from the race. What will happen to F1?I don't know but i'm sure as long as there is F1 fans like me, F1 spirit will be alive.

Cheers to F1!and to my beloved Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen!
