Title: Smokers edged out of more places
From: The Straits Times page A8.
Summary of article: This article talk about the areas that the smokers are no longer allowed to smoke in. The places are: cinemas, threatres, lifts, hospitals, nursing homes, markets, air-conditioned bulidings, non air-conditioned workplaces, playground, banks and etc. This order will actually limit a lot of places that the smokers can smoke in and thus reducing the effect of second hand smoking which will cause more hurt to the others.
Comment: Having lesser places for smokers to smoke will not allow the air to be polluted and also the non-smokers will not have to take in the unbearable smoke. I feel that by doing this, the government actually killing two birds with one stone as the smoker might chose not to smoke anymore and the air will also be much more purified and thus, people with asthma will not have a releaspe easily.
