Title of show: Another Crazy Christmas
Directed by: Selena Tan
Thoughts: Times are bad, people worry about their life. Most of them no longer want to celebrate Christmas as the celebration is definitely going to be a waste of money. The art reporter, Adeline Chia, wrote down a good point, “Christmas shows remind us that there is life outside these doleful economic times-or at least distract us from them.”
Director Selena Tan has gathered a group of performing pals to put up a one and a half hour evening packed with feel-good songs about love and friendship, interspersed with short comedy skits.
One of the highlights was Hossan Leong’s hilarious stand-up segment where he riffed on Singaporeans’ creativity.
After reading this report, I think that the tickets of “Another Crazy Christmas” will be a great Christmas present to be given and received.
