Conclusion of lessons in class.

As we follow the trails towards the place, we start to make use of our five senses, to better understand the place.

As I approach the school, the happy faces in the posters and pictures, the vibrant colours in which the school is painted in welcomes me every morning.
The seemingly endless cars that arrives in the morning is liken to the scene where many eager Singaporeans rushing to MacDonalds' during the Hello Kitty frenzy.
As I open the door to the place, I overhear the friendly chatters of the the staff inside.
The mixed scent of strong colonge and perfume lingers, into my nose.
As I screeened through the display, I taste the sweetness of glory and victory.

The precision and descriptive writing activities have been fun, rather than staying in a classroom, within four walls. Finding the places where my friends have described was pretty fun, although some of the instructions were a little misleading, but nonetheless, we still managed to find the place with some hints from the author. It also encourages us to think out of the box, to describe things in a way that seem to be more interesting and more capturing than our normal way of writing. Precision writing also helps us to be more precise, and allows our friends to comment on our writings, helping us to improve. It was interesting in a way where we brainstorm how to lead our friends from the classroom to the place where we was assigned to, but not intending to lead him right on to where we were. The similes and metaphors was harder to grasp, and I don't really know how to describe them well. Overall, it was quite enjoyable compared to rotting in class.
