Hi everbody, I know this is a week late, but since the Olympics have just started, I hope my comments can apply to everyone.
Being here in US is quite interesting so far. It's getting colder and it will be Autumn probably in the next month or so. Then I have to prepare for the dreaded winter. I just registered for my high school. The name is Skyline High School. I'm sorry to say that I'm NOT going to East High School and I'm not going to regret not going. However, I do pass by the school almost every single day, and I have to say, it's not THAT great (haha, just kidding). Anyways, I also registered for my classes. One of my subjects next semester would be Drivers' Ed, I'll be learning how to drive! Anyways, I'm also taking (and I can't believe it) Chinese as a foreign language.
Anyways, to get back on topic. Many people have to (not choose to) agree that China is on the rise to becoming one of the greatest countries in the world again. Why again? Well, we all know that China created paper money, went on many expeditions, amazed people such as Marco Polo. They also created a substance similar to gun powder and many other inventions used in the world today. However, they suddenly shut down and became one of the many corrupted countries in Asia. All of a sudden, China is on the roll again, even hosting the olympics. All of a sudden, people are trying to grasp the Chinese language, make connections with them, and so on.
Countries all over the world have also made learning Chinese one of the subjects in school. For my school, they are one of many schools that will be providing Chinese as a subject for the very first time because they too have realize that China will be one of the top rolling countries exactly like the United States or UK, especially in business.
Therefore, my opinion is quite obvious. China and Asia will become a renowned power again in the world.

P.S. I miss you guys! Hope to see you soon!
