Four-five rocks!

On 31 July 2001, Beijing was elected the host city for the XXIX Olympiad during the 112th IOC Session in Moscow, beating Toronto, Paris, Istanbul, and Osaka. Asia is finally under the spotlight! The Chinese are especially excited and proud of this honorable glory.
For the past few years, China has made many great and astonishing achievements. China is a huge country with many uncovered and hidden potential. It has many resources. In most countries, one can easily find things with ‘Made in China’ tag attached to them. Now, many have moved their attention from Europe, to the fast- growing China.
Beijing, the political and diplomatic nerve centre of China, is no stranger to over-the-top security arrangements. The preparation made by China had been reported all over the world. Thousands of manpower is needed for security purposes. This show the unity and capabilities of China to people from other countries. Beijing had also stunned many in the west with its breakthroughs from medals design to Olympics village and its vast resources spent on sports technology to help athletes to recover quickly from their fatigue so as athletes could produce their optimum results.
I agree that Asia is recognized as a power to be reckoned with in the world. Now, it maybe mostly because that the Olympics held in Beijing. India is another rising country in Asia. With the rising economy of China and India, Asia could be indeed a prosperous and rich continent in the near future.
