Asia is a power to be recognised. :D

I agree that Asia is a power to be recognised.

On the 31st of July 2001, Beijing was selected to host the 2008 Olympics, beating Toronto, Paris, Istanbul, and Osaka, which is an honour for Asia, and a great milestone achieved. And, I believe this would heighten Asia’s standing throughout the world.

China has grown throughout the years, in fact, at a pretty fast rate. China has a high population and has groomed many talents. Many businessmen from all over the world goes to China for trading, businesses, etc. And it is not only China that has been growing; many parts of Asia have been, too. Along with China, India’s economy has also been rising. India also has its resources and people. It recorded a GDP [gross domestic product] growth rate of 9.0% for the fiscal year 2007–2008 which makes it the second fastest big emerging economy, after China, in the world

A matter of fact, Singapore is also a strong country. Yes, Singapore is just a little red dot on the world map. However, with little resources, we can still work well mutually.
Furthermore, Singapore has many talents too. And, there are also people from overseas coming to Singapore to study.

Yes, there are many other stronger ones, like the western countries. However, Asia is rising in the world’s eyes and I believe it will continue to do so.
