OK this article is about a mother and uncle who come together and kidnap their daugther/niece all for the sake of the root of all evil.Money! The two were found guilty of it on Thursday which is today. The money a sum of 50,000 pounds was offered by a newspaper call the "The Sun" for anyone who had found the girl. The two kept the girl drugged and imprisoned in Mr. Donovan`s flat less than a mile (1.6km) from her home as part of a plan to claim the money. She was fond under the divan bed .The mother Karen Matthews had appeared on the television in tears during the time her daugther was kidnapped .The pair were convicted of the kidnap and false imprisonment of the girl plus perverting the course of justice after a three-week trial at Leeds Crown Court in northern England .The pair were convicted of the kidnap and false imprisonment of the girl plus perverting the course of justice after a three-week trial at Leeds Crown Court in northern England.The whole incident caused one of the biggest searches in Britain's history.The whole escapade cost over three million pounds (S$6.6 million).



What do I feel about the whole incident? (sarcastic question)
Seriously speaking this article goes against everything a mother should be ! (not that i am a mother but still) . The way Ms Matthews made her daugther go through such an ordeal just for the sake of money is simply horrendous. Yes, i agree times are bad with the economic crisis and global recession but this is not the answer. I mean the damage it has on her daugthers mental and emotional state will be like a life long scar and will never leave her. Reading such articles just gets me furious at how some people can do anything for the sake of money. one more point that i think is very inconsiderate of the uncle is that if he was going to make money of her he might as well given her a comfortable room to be in.
