Daughter of heiress fights billion-$ gifts

intro: the daughter of France's richest woman, of squandering fortune. France's richest woman L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt admitted that she gave more than a billion dollars in gifts. she gave it to Mr Francois-Marie Banier, a Parisian painter and photographer to the stars and long time friend of Mrs Bettencourt and her late husband.terrified of seeing the family billions frittered away, Mrs Bettencourt's only daughter filed suit accusing Mr banier of manipulating her mother.
summary: though it is a bit disgracing for the daughter to file a lawsuit about her family it was quite necessary as money was being wasted on things that were not important. the money could have been spent on things that were more important and also it was not right to spend money that was not only hers. when asked by the reporters on why she gave him the money. she said that it was her choice to do whatever she wanted with the money. to me it seems that she is being brainwashed by Mr banier. i don't think she is in the right state of mind. money shouldn't be wasted. it should be spent wisely and saved up for the rainy days ahead. so i advise Mrs Battencourt to wake up and stop being so generous to Mr Banier. I'm sure he has his own money :)

Ever wondered why we are reading such mundane stuff about who is giving who money? I mean, why should we bother if she wants to squander away her money? Should we not care more about how to preserve the Earth or how to help the needy?
