Title of book: Encyclopedia Brown and the case of the secret pitch
Brief summary...
This is a fiction book with context quite similar the Sherlock Holmes but much more simpler as it is about a kid instead of a grown-up detective going around searching for clues to solve cases that are quite out of the world. Encyclopedia is just nickname for the mysteries solving kid; he is named Encyclopedia because of the fact that he has much more information in his small little brain as compared to a library. His father is the chief policeman in the town so he would often bring back mysteries back for his son to solve during dinner time!
Cons: As compared to other books which I have read, this book is quite thin with only about 100+ pages inside! But I have chosen to read this book is because I am bringing it back to Malaysia to read as my mother wouldn’t want me to stay inside the house reading a 500+ pages book now, would she?
Pros: Even though of its SHORT story, it still provides me with much entertainment with all the mysteries to solve.
So obviously I would recommend this book to those who really cannot understand book on Sherlock Holmes with all it mind killing words :)
