Book Review 1

Book Title: Almost Lost
Author: Anonymous

This Book Is Based On The True Story Of An Anonymous Teengaer's Life On The Streets. 15 year old Sam used to be a very cheerful, funny and usually self-confident boy but after some of his problems related to his family, he becomes almost an old senile stranger. He in pain and he is being forced to see a psychiatrist. He comes into the therapist's office unwillingly, angry, depressed, and filled with guilt over his own self-destructive behaviour. After His First Session With The Therapist, he didn't think that the therapist was going to be able to help him and thus, decides to run away. Not just from home but also from this world. For 3 months, Samuel, also known as Sam, goes missing and never returns. In Those 3 months he was left alone in the streets and survived it even though his main aim was to blow out his candle! After 3 long months he decided to seek help and goes back to the therapist first instead of visiting his mum and his sisters. The Therapist Takes a long time trying to settle him down and getting him to tell him his problem. After he was sure that Sam wouldn't take the desicion on blowing out his candle again, he tells him to go back to his home. A new lease of trust is formed between Sam And His Psychiatrist and Sam does as he was told and his family is excited and relieved to see him. Since that day he goes back to the therapist on a regular basis and gets all the help he needs. Sam Is a very bright boy and managed to recover quite fast with the help of his doctor as together they tackled Sam's problems one by one. In the story, we as individuals too learn quite alot as the book teaches us how to look at things in an optimistic way and how we can look at our problems one by one from the biggest to the smallest and come up with the best solutions to them.

This Book Is One Of The Best That I've Read As I Not Only Learnt About How People Who Are Mentally Affected Feel About Certain Stuffs Which Seems Perfectly Normal To most of us but also about how i can tackle my own problems by looking at things in a brighter side and not encouraging words such as hate and so on and also about how to be a better listener. Personally, i can say that the book has changed me and i'm happy about it. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it. Sometimes Experiences From Any normal teenager are better than any writer's fictional books. This Book Can Be Found In The School Library, So give this book a chance, who knows, it may change your lives as well(:

Lastly, a quote from this book: People Do Not Die From Suicide, They Die From Sadness.
