This article relates on how Mr Richard yong and his wife landed up in court.A money-laundering case have them landed up in a mess.As mr yong was filed bankrupt,his wife was afraid and fled to malaysia.Mr yong followed her as she might hurt herself.they then fled to hong kong and transfer $1.2 million to their bank there.being caught and brought back to singapore,they said that they transfered lesser money then what the hong kong bank claimed.however,the receipt showed that they had their signatures there and wanted them to transfer the exact amount of $1.2 million.there was lies told as the case proceeded.

i feel that the Yongs have made up alot of lies to cover up their plan for escape.and when they were caught,they tried to change the facts but the judge could not accept it.all these lies where told one after another just to try and minimise their chances of being put to jail.In the end,yong's wife could not take it but to admit.This teaches me that telling lies one after another just to cover up our wrong doings will one day be opened up to everyone and make the matter worst.however,some people blamed it on Durai.i agree that his partly to be blamed as well but the YOngs also fell into greed and being materalistic.Decisions can be made carefully but they chose the wrong path and ended up making their life worst,escaping from one country to another and not even wanting to let go of their possesion they stole.i feel that the wife should be sentence to jail as this will help her reflect and calm her mind down after this ordeal.i guess that they should be blessed being caught this time as it will help them to stop commiting offences and ina way minimising the lost and worry hearts.
