At the doorstep of the Design & Technology workshop, the fragrance of the plants along the side attracted me; however, it was tainted with the staleness of the dusty air from with the room. Then, a cool breeze brushed past me, stroking my hair with the tender affection of a mother, and it leaves a lingering feeling of joy in my heart. I looked towards the side, and saw three blue cabinets, sitting side by side, showing off the wondeful craftworks within, through its clear, gleaming glass.
I entered the brightly lighted room. It was full of activities. Amidst the noises caused by the ongoing machines, teachers and students discussing, the faint sound of the calm, rhythmic, whirring of the fans could barely be heard.
The intense smell of wood from a corner seemed to have dragged me towards it. I caressed the wood lightly, but the uneven surface jabbed into my skin. I turned and looked at the students who were listening intently to their teacher. Their thirst for knowledge was so strong that I could taste it. I left the workshop, with the feeling of enthusiasm to study like those students.
