Hey everybody,
Term 1 just ended today and I got my term 1 grades. GPA of 4.0, actually it's 3.952 but they're nice and they round up. All As except an A- in English. Everything is great and I'm getting more and more used to how they do things around here. So, I said something about writing something for the parents and P6s. Well, it's just down below (of course, you make the final decision on whether or not you want to show this to them Ms. Tang :D). Oh and yes, 3-5, you guys better enjoy your hols now, cause you'll never get it until you're done with Os, haha!

Dear Parents and P6s,
I'm Shannon Oh. I was in Jurong Secondary School until July of this year. I moved to Utah, USA and I'm having a really awesome time here. To put a little background info on me, I was born in Penang, grew in the US, and moved to Singapore when I was in P6. The past 4 years were never easy, but despite all that, I think that living in Singapore was a good experience for me. You see, here in my high school which is already considered as the best in the area, there is not a lot of people that try to strive to do their best. Living and studying in Singapore, helped me not only know that I have to work hard, but also helped me to learn manners and how to behave. I was also in the student council in Jurong, and that helped me be able learn how to be grateful for what I have. Jurong helped me to reach my best potential, not because it's a future school and everything. That's just a bonus. However, I think that Jurong not only helps to make good academic students, but also students who have good social skills.
I hope that you will consider Jurong as one of your schools ad congrats to all you P6s!

Hey Shannon

I happen to be able to read the blog you know? LOL. I do read the blog, just that I sometimes refrain from commenting on the personal stuff but rest assured I'm keeping up with you. I'm really happy for your progress there. Keep it up! Enjoy your time over there!! :)
