Wow!

The blog is ALIVE!!

I'm a happy teacher now. Haha.

Okie, I'm here to play devil's advocate for the question on Organ Trade. This issue is still being debated in the newspapers today. I have read your reviews and would try to post as much comments as possible to your reviews.

Here are some generic questions to the reviews.

For those who are for legalising organ trade.
1)What are the implications for this socially?
2)Would this spiral to the situation whereby the rich who are sick would always be cured and the poor would have to die?
3)Would this someday lead to "auction" for organs?

For those who are not for it
1)Are there solutions to the long wait for organ transplant?
2)Will there be a possibility in cloning organs? Would that lead to another set of moral debate?
3)Should people just die from this since they didn't take care of themselves in the first place?

BTW, devil's advocate means the person who asks all the difficult questions and confuses your mind. Wahahaha

This week's topic is simpler.

School is... (you continue. Deadline is Sunday 20/7) :)

School..
School is a place where students can gain experience and knowledge.School can also be a playground where students have fun together, making new friends and enjoy our cca activities! In short, school serves a lot of our needs that are beneficial to us.
Jurong Secondary School has four learning values: Loyalty, Industry, Sincerity,Love. When i first stepped into the school during sec 1,i am motivated by these values and i hope i would have demonstrate them strongly to make our school proud in terms of study and sports. I believed the teachers are also inspired and had taught me well for these three years in jss. I am always looking forward to go to school as it is a place where i can explore and discover more. School is a very important place for all students so that skills learnt in the school can b applied in our future jobs. Honestly,i hope jurong secondary school would create more sports cca to attract talents from the primary school to join us. Lasty, three cheers for our school to be a FUTURE school!!

Singapore is where we belong. School is where we study.
School seems to be a second home for me. Friends, teachers, seniors are all met during our school days. Undeniable, most of us spent almost half the day gaining knowledge from school, chit-chatting with our very best friends. School is indeed a platform for many to shed their tears and share their joyfulness together as one. As a student from JSS, I am glad that I am part of this school as secondary school life has definitely changed my life and I truly understand the meaning of “loyalty, industry, sincerity and love”. Most seniors and parents do feel that secondary school life is the most valuable time in their entire life as teens tend to be their original self, not wearing any ‘masks’ to cover their true colours. Everyone is absolutely willing to play hard and study hard. School is indeed my second home where I discover my true self, despite at times I litter within the school compound.
Treasure every second in school, because what we gain is immeasurable.
