...a place where I’ll make many friends who will stay with me forever (I hope). I cannot imagine if I was one of those kids who are home-schooled. I will not get to know so much people and how boring will my life be!
I like school because I meet many great friends there. Whenever I needed help, I know I can approach them. They will always be there to help me, be it personal problems or schoolwork.
My classmates are a big part of my life. We spent more than half the day together studying, playing (?!) and having fun. Sometimes, we are grouped together by the teachers to do project work. This makes us spend even more time together as we may need to meet up to do the project together.
In this competitive class, all my classmates push and motivate me to do better academically. Without such classmates, imagine how slack I will be. Competitive we may be, we still enjoy and need each other’s company.
School let me learn life skills and gain knowledge. Through CCA, I learnt how to communicate with other people from other classes and levels. This allows me to know my seniors and learn from them since they have more experience in things. I also get to know my juniors and try to help them whenever possible. People in my CCA are not like those in my class, we are different and I learnt to communicate with them. Besides, I met some of my really good friends through it.
Although some of life’s worst things happened in school, these are really the things that prepare us for the future and make us stronger for other things ahead of us. We should learn from these experiences. Of course, there are often happy memories that we’ll take with when we leave school. Some people might hate school but I think that school is important (not just academically) and really prepare us for the working world.
